Honda Civic Type-R Concept to debut at 2014 Geneva Motor Show
Honda has previewed the Civic Type R concept image before its debut at the Geneva motor show scheduled for next month. The new Type R will be launched in Europe early next year.
Honda has previewed the Civic Type R concept image before its debut at the Geneva motor show scheduled for next month. The new Type R will be launched in Europe early next year.
Honda will also unveil other products such as Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) Concept, the powertrain layout of the new NSX and the 2014 Civic World Touring Car Championship race car.
The Civic Type R is powered by a newly developed turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine. Churns out 200PS and torque of 192Nm. It is claimed that the Civic Type R can accelerate from 0-100 km/h only in 6.4 seconds.
Honda considers that new Honda Type R will provide the styling direction for the highly anticipated version that debuts in 2015.Design team named it as a ‘racing car for the road' its bold and expressive styling has mark the strong performance characteristics for which Type R is popular.
