All Taxis to be CNG cars by March 01 2016

While the latest buzz about the govt. order to turn all the private taxis running and plying on the domestic Indian roads to use the CNG mode of running and functioning. Finally the govt. has issued a dead line cut-off date, of the 01^st of March, 2015. And the court order also asks all the private and reputed brands who run their taxi services all across the country, to provide and submit the work out plan of action as well, about how they would plan the initiative of making all their cabs run on the CNG. The Delhi High court has given permission to the various app based cab companies to continue running their currently diesel cabs until the dead line of the 01^st of March 2016. However the cab companies need to plan further to move their cabs over to the CNG mode, abiding by an initiative of making the city roads less polluted and contaminated.

The most successful start-up App based Cab company in our country, Uber cabs have voluntarily quoted that they would shift all their cabs over to the CNG mode, however they need sometime for the same. We are really unsure of any measure being taken on this or not, as it has been our tradition to kip on the govt. measures, taking extensions and getting stay orders approved. There is certainly no point for the govt. offering initiative, and the citizens just taking things for granted. The need of the hour is indeed to cut down on the pollution level from the city roads, as the life here is increasingly becoming alarming, wherein the harmful effects are becoming unavoidable and certain. We are individual citizens need to seek the responsibility on our shoulders and abide with all the measures the govt. is at least taking up now. It is indeed better late than sorry situation in our country
